A new survey commissioned by Next Chapter Press in Boca Grande, Florida found that 48 percent of Americans say they will be spending less on holiday gifts this year 2008. That’s no surprise, given the economy.
However, the PRNewswire-USNewswire via COMTEX article went on to relate how hard times tend to bring families closer together while trying to stretch their finances:
